Shazna Nessa is Deputy Managing Editor, Global Head of Visuals at the Wall Street Journal. Prior to that she was Director of Journalism at the Knight Foundation. She started her career in technology and design and later joined the Associated Press where she oversaw visuals, editorial products and innovation. She was an Executive Producer at Conde Nast Portfolio.com and has taught both at CUNY and Columbia University. She was a 2014 JSK fellow at Stanford University.
